Ikaarvik – an independent, Indigenous-led non-profit organization that supports youth in Arctic Indigenous communities to empower them to identify and act on local research priorities in ways that integrate western scientific and Indigenous world views. Ikaarvik youth facilitate meaningful dialogue to ensure both scientific and local Indigenous perspectives, objectives, interests and concerns are mutually understood and incorporated into Arctic research.
