Working with different ways of knowing from beginning to end
“I think co-creation captures some nuances, like working with different ways of knowing from the very beginning to the very end.”
I hadn’t really heard of the term ‘co-creation’ before I started working with all of you. When I told my friends and family in Canada that I would be coming to Germany for this project, they asked me: how is co-creation different from collaboration? I assumed there are similarities, but I think co-creation captures some nuances, like working with different ways of knowing from the very beginning to the very end.
The object I brought is spices I received from Stephan. Partly because it is a gift from someone who I am learning a lot about co-creation from, and also because it is a spice I never heard of before. So completely new to me. When I combine these spices with what I know about cooking, and these two things come together and create something totally new that I wouldn’t have had if I hadn’t worked with you.
