The University of Cambridge organises Polar Humanities and Social Sciences Early Career Researchers Workshops (PHaSS) for early career researchers. These workshops aim to provide research support, allow for roundtable discussions and facilitate dialogue between scholars who are visiting the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) and group members. In June 2021, Nina Döring and the head of the Saami Council EU Unit presented on “Improving the relationships between researchers and Indigenous rights holders in the Arctic – What needs to change in funding?”
